| Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: Maximum TL 319 mm; TL/taillength 36-52 in males, 40--{50 in females; TL/midbody diameter 37-44; middorsal scales 371-447; scale rows 20-20, rarely 20-18, with reduction occurring shortly anterior to vent; head shape rounded; rostral moderate in dorsal aspect, oval to parallel, often somewhat asymmetrical, no apical flare (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 658). |
