Comment | Morphologically, U. sikorae and U. sameiti can be distinguished by the absence or presence of dark pigment in the lining of the mouth (present in U. sikorae and absent in U. sameiti). Distribution: U. sikorae and U. sameiti show a parapatric distribution, with U. sikorae apparently being restricted to moderate altitudes whereas U. sameiti occupies lowland habitats. There is a possible narrow region of sympatry (Raxworthy et al. 2008). |
