Diagnosis | Diagnosis: ETHERIDGE & WILLIAMS 1991: 332. |
Comment | Synonymy following that of ETHERIDGE & WILLIAMS 1991 and CEI 1993 with additions from BOULENGER 1885. BOULENGER 1886 synonymized Laemanctus obtusirostris with A. undulatus (which is listed in this database also as a valid species). ETHERIDGE & WILLIAMS 1991 suggested to suppress Laemanctus obtusirostris WIEGMANN 1834 and Laemanctus Fitzingeri WIEGMANN 1834 as these names have hardly been used in the 20th century. Distribution: for a map see ETHERIDGE & WILLIAMS 1991: 338. |
Etymology | Named after Dr. G. Franco Grillo, collector of the syntypes. |
