DiagnosisDiagnosis. “Ein Zwergwaran der Untergattung Odatria, am nächsten verwandt mit primordius und acanthurus. Schwanz ziemlich kurz, auf der Oberseite mit kräftigen Stachelschuppen. 78-87 Schuppenreihen rund um den Körper, aber nur 51-58 Querreihen von Bauchschildchen. Keine ausgeprägte Ozellenzeichnung. Gesamtlänge nicht über 330 mm.” (Mertens 1966) 
CommentDistribution: see map in AROD (which shows 2 polygons for ocreatus and 1 in the east for storri s. str.).
