Diagnosis 
CommentSimilar to Z. boettgeri.

Habitat: trees in semi-deciduous, tropical forest.

Abundance: only known from the type specimen (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after the Malagasy word “maramaintso”, designating a color pattern of darker spots or patches on a green background.
